NETFLIX has something for everyone, from superhero series to hard-hitting documentaries.
Here are the best picks for July 2018…
Orange Is The New Black – Season 6
Orange is the New Black season six will arrive on Netflix Friday, July 27, 2018.
The comedy-drama was one of Netflix’s first original series and has since grown to become the streaming giant’s most watched content.
The first five seasons have been released to critical acclaim and all episodes are available on catch-up.
Season six’s episode count hasn’t officially been confirmed yet but it is expected to once again be a running-order of 13.
Plot details for the highly-anticipated season are being firmly kept under wraps with Netflix declining thus far to release a synopsis.
The 20-second teaser trailer shows us a glimpse of post-riot Litchfield, and it’s nothing but shattered windows and broken lights with the voiceover saying “This is a whole new world.”
The teaser finishes with the words ‘To the Max’, which perhaps suggests the inmates will be moved to a maximum security prison as punishment.
Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee – Season 10
Twelve new episodes of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee will be debuted on July 6.
The programme sees legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld cruising in the car with fellow comics and a lot of caffeine.
This series is set to star passengers including Kate McKinnon, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Lewis, Alec Baldwin, John Mulaney and Tracy Morgan to name a few.
Sacred Games
The Netflix original series is based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 thriller novel of the same name and debuts on July 6.
There will be eight episodes, all an hour long .
The show is one of seven Netflix Indian Originals in production.
Final Space
The adult animated science fiction is due to return to Netflix on July 20.
The programme centres around astronaut Gary and his alien friend Mooncake.
On their adventures they try to solve the mystery of ‘Final Space.’
El Chapo – Season 3
The third season of El Chapo is set to return after the success of the first two series.
The show follows the rise of Joaquin El Chapo Guzman as dominant drug lord of Mexico.
The trailer for the new season shows how the drug lord gets caught by the army and brought before the UN to get his comeuppance for his crimes.
