Who is Sharkboy in real life?

Sharkboy is a character from The Adventures Of Sharkboy And Lavagirl.

The superhero was played by Taylor Lautner in the 2005 film, but will be portrayed by J.J. Dashnaw in the Netflix release We Can Be Heroes.

He is one of the imaginings of Max, a 10 year old whose parents have little time for him.

In his loneliness, he imagines a world named Planet Drool, where Sharkboy lives.

What happened to Sharkboy?

The character is meant to have been raised by sharks after his marine biologist father dies at sea.

He transforms to a shark-hybrid.

At the end of the film he nearly dies after Mr Electric makes him jump into water filled with electric eels.

Lavagirl, played by Taylor Dooley, follows him into the water to save his life, and then he has to race against the clock to get her to a volcano to be revived.

The pair then rescue Max’s parents who are caught in a storm.

Viewers learn from Max that Sharkboy became the King of the Ocean.

Does Sharkboy have a crush on Lavagirl?

Sharkboy is believed to have a crush on Lavagirl, just as she has a crush on him too.

At the end of the first film, they share a kiss.

Lavagirl also risks her life to save Sharkboy, revealing her feelings.

Sharkboy was shown to be jealous of Max because Lavagirl became maternal towards the young boy.
